Synopsis
Waking at sun-down and falling asleep at sun-rise, sisters
Mercy and Charity are trapped in an eternal winter,
every day the same as the last. But one night Mercy
wakes to find a single snowdrop on her pillow: a sign
of spring, light and other life…
An encounter with the mysterious Claudius awakens
memories of a happier time and leads Mercy to travel
through the four circles of time her father has created
to protect his daughters – each circle capturing
a significant day in the family’s past. As she
does so, she weakens the reality of the eternal winter
day of her present but it’s the only way to
reveal the truth of her family’s secret and
unlock an unpredictable yet hopeful future for her
and her sister.
